Lucas County Arena

Lucas County Arena will be home to the Toledo Walleye hockey team and will serve as a venue for other sporting events and concerts. The project, together with the Mud Hens Ball Park and SeaGate Convention Center, is expected to spur economic development in the shrinking city Downtown Toledo.

The visual concept of the sign program takes inspiration from the skate scratches found on hockey ice and is designed to complement the architectural scheme and interior decor, developed by HNTB, The Collaborative and Poggemeyer. The arena opened in the fall of 2009.
