Studio Graphique recently completed a new signage and wayfinding program for the 8,000 seat, state-of-the-art, multi-purpose Lucas County Arena, on behalf of the Gateway Group and Lucas County.
Designed by HNTB, out of Kansas City, and The Collaborative, a native Toledo architectural firm, the Lucas County Arena is one of the nation’s first LEED certified professional sports arenas.
Due to the multi-purpose use of the facility, Studio Graphique paid special attention to many of the unique architectural details to present an integrated interior sign program.
Instead of an obvious team brand theme, details of the sign design hinted on the sports and events that would be featured—such as blade shaped sign brackets and sleek ‘icy’ sign panels.
